PIPE MANUFACTURING MACHINE
HOW ARE S.S. PIPES MANUFACTURED?
Quality, not quantity
Steel pipes are primarily of two types, seamless and welded. They are used in petrochemicals, fertilizers, dairy industries power stations and nuclear plants. Other corrosion resistant applications as of food processing industry are also significant users.
The stainless steel sheets are then put through several quality checks and are then trimmed along the edges. They are then fed into the milling of tubes. The tubes go through the rollers that are required to meet the dimensions. In the tube mill, the strip is gradually transformed into a tubular form.
The pipes that are produced are cut to lengths that are required in accordance with the demands of the industrial sector. The tube or pipe is marked with the grade of material size, dimension, heat number. They then go through a series of tests and quality checks. The process is then followed by appropriate packing and dispatch.
